FRONT AXLE HUB REASSEMBLY


  1. INSTALL FRONT AXLE HUB BEARING


    1. A0135V8E01

      Using SST and a press, install a new front axle hub bearing onto the steering knuckle.

      SST
      09950-70010   ( 09951-07100 )
      09608-10010
      09649-17010

      Note

      Install the new hub bearing with the magnetic rotor side facing towards the vehicle.

  2. INSTALL FRONT AXLE HUB HOLE SNAP RING

    1. Using snap ring pliers, install a new front axle hub hole snap ring.

      Note

      After installing the snap ring, check to ensure that it fits securely in place.

  3. INSTALL STEERING KNUCKLE HEAT INSULATOR FR

    1. Using torx socket wrench T30, install the steering knuckle heat insulator front onto the steering knuckle.

      Torque:
      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

  4. INSTALL FRONT AXLE HUB SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A0138UAE01

      Using SST and a press, install the front axle hub sub-assembly.

      09950-70010   ( 09951-07100 )
      09950-60010   ( 09951-00630 )

      Note


      • Do not damage the magnetic seal of the bearing.

      • While installing the hub bearing, confirm that it is able to rotate.

  5. INSTALL SKID CONTROL SENSOR COVER

    A01367U

    1. Using torx socket wrench T30, install the skid control sensor onto the steering knuckle.

      Torque:
      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }
