FRONT AXLE HUB DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE STEERING KNUCKLE HEAT INSULATOR FR

    1. Using torx socket wrench T30, remove the steering knuckle heat insulator front from the steering knuckle.

  2. REMOVE SKID CONTROL SENSOR COVER

    1. Using torx socket wrench T30, remove the skid control sensor cover from the steering knuckle.

  3. REMOVE FRONT AXLE HUB SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Fix the front axle sub-assembly in a vise.

      Install the 2 bolts (underhead length : 70 mm) onto the front axle hub sub-assembly, fit SST and remove the front axle sub-assembly from the steering knuckle.

      Using SST, remove the inner race outside of the hub bearing from the front axle hub.

  4. REMOVE FRONT AXLE HUB HOLE SNAP RING

    1. Using snap ring pliers, remove the front axle hub hole snap ring.

  5. REMOVE FRONT AXLE HUB BEARING

    1. Using SST and a press, remove the front axle hub bearing from the steering knuckle.

      Note

      Position the steering knuckle horizontally.
