DESCRIPTION
The buzzer inside the transmission control ECU sounds an alarm when the shift lever is moved into reverse or is mis-operated. This DTC is detected and output when power is not supplied to the buzzer built into the transmission control ECU.
Tech Tips
In addition, the buzzer sounds when one of the following conditions is met:
When the transmission control ECU performs the shift rejection to prevent engine overrev.
When the vehicle is stationary and the transmission control ECU operates the shift retry function.
When the transmission control ECU judges the clutch overheat.

CHECK BUZZER OPERATION
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Shift the lever into reverse.
Check the buzzer operation.

CHECK OTHER DTC OUTPUT (IN ADDITION TO DTC P1875)
Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
Turn the ignition switch to ON and turn the tester ON.
Select the following menu items: Powertrain / Multi-Mode M/T / DTC.
Read DTCs.
