CLUTCH PEDAL REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the lower instrument panel Click here.

  2. SEPARATE CLUTCH RELEASE CABLE ASSEMBLY

    1. Turn and loosen the clutch release cable adjusting nut.

      Separate the clutch release cable from the clutch pedal.

  3. REMOVE CLUTCH SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for 1KR-FE)

      Disconnect the clutch switch connector.

    2. Remove the nut and clutch switch from the pedal support.

  4. REMOVE STOP LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for LHD)


    1. Disconnect the connector from the stop light switch.

    2. Turn the stop light switch counterclockwise, and remove the stop light switch.

    3. Remove the stop light switch mounting adjuster from the pedal support.

  5. SEPARATE MASTER CYLINDER PUSH ROD CLEVIS (for LHD)

    1. Remove the clip and push rod pin, and separate the push rod clevis.

  6. REMOVE BRAKE PEDAL SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LHD)


    1. Disengage the 2 wire harness clamps from the pedal support.

    2. Disengage the wire harness clamp from the stud bolt.

      Remove the 4 nuts, 2 bolts and pedal support.

      Remove the nut from the pedal support.

  7. SEPARATE NO. 2 STEERING INTERMEDIATE SHAFT ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

    1. Hold the steering wheel assembly with the seat belt in order to prevent rotation and damage to the spiral cable.

    2. A0137IGE05

      Place matchmarks on the sliding yoke sub-assembly and the intermediate shaft.

    3. Loosen bolt A and remove bolt B to separate the sliding yoke sub-assembly.

  8. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

      Remove the 2 nuts, 2 bolts and pedal support.

  9. REMOVE CLUTCH RELEASE CABLE GROMMET

      Remove the grommet from the pedal support.

  10. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LHD)


    1. Using a 13 mm socket wrench, remove the nut and bolt.

    2. Remove the clutch pedal and brake pedal from the pedal support.

    3. Remove the collar and bush from the clutch pedal.

    4. Remove the collar and bush from the brake pedal.

    5. Remove the pedal pad.

  11. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RHD)


    1. Using a 13 mm socket wrench, remove the nut and bolt.

    2. Remove the clutch pedal from the pedal support.

    3. Remove the collar and bush from the clutch pedal.

    4. Remove the pedal pad.
