INSPECT THERMOSTAT HOUSING
Check the water temperature gauge indicates normal operating temperature while driving after the engine has been warmed up.
If the engine is excessively overheating or running too cool, perform the following inspection. If the result is as specified, replace the thermostat housing.
Check that the fan rotates when engine coolant temperature is over 97 °C.
Check the engine coolant level and also check for coolant leaks.
