  1. INSPECT FUEL TEMPERATURE SENSOR

      Measure the resistance between the terminals.

      Standard resistance
      Condition Specified Condition
      Approx. 20°C (68°F) 2.74 to 3.32 kΩ
      Approx. 60°C (140°F) 0.52 to 0.60 kΩ

      Note

      When checking the fuel temperature sensor in water, keep the terminals dry. After checking, wipe the sensor dry.

      If the result is not as specified, replace the sensor.
