FUEL TEMPERATURE SENSOR REMOVAL


  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  2. REMOVE FRONT WIPER HEAD CAP

    1. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, remove the front wiper arm head cap.

  3. REMOVE FRONT WIPER ARM LH


    1. Operate the wiper, then stop the windshield wiper motor assembly in the automatic stop position.

      Remove the nut and front wiper main arm.

      Disengage the meshing of the secondary arm from the front wiper motor and link assembly.

      Note

      Do not bend the secondary arm when removing it.

  4. REMOVE HOOD TO COWL TOP SEAL

    1. Disengage the 8 clips and remove the hood to cowl top seal.

  5. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER LH

    1. Remove the clip.

    2. Disengage the 8 claws and remove the cowl top ventilator louver RH.

    3. Disconnect the washer hose.

  6. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH

    1. Remove the clip.

    2. Disengage the 8 claws and remove the cowl top ventilator louver RH.

    3. Disconnect the washer hose.

  7. REMOVE FRONT WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the 2 bolts.

    2. Disconnect the connector and remove the front wiper motor and link assembly.

  8. REMOVE COWL TOP PANEL OUTER

      Remove the 10 bolts and cowl top panel outer.

  9. REMOVE ENGINE COVER

      Disengage the 3 claws and remove the engine cover.

  10. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP


    1. A0136JLE01

      Using a "torx" socket wrench, loosen the 3 screws, and remove the air cleaner cap.

  11. REMOVE AIR HOSE

      Loosen the clamp bolt.

    2. Using a screwdriver and pliers, remove the clip.

    3. Remove the air hose.

  12. REMOVE MASS AIR FLOW METER


    1. Disconnect the mass air flow meter connector.

    2. A0136T5

      Using a "torx" socket wrench, remove the 2 screws and the mass air flow meter.

    3. Remove the O-ring from the mass air flow meter.

  13. SEPARATE ENGINE ROOM RELAY BLOCK

      Remove the 2 bolts and disengage the claw.

    2. Separate the 3 wire harness clamps and the engine room relay block.

  14. REMOVE INLET AIR CLEANER


    1. A0137J3

      Remove the inlet air cleaner.

  15. REMOVE INLET AIR CLEANER NO.2


    1. A0135TK

      Using a "torx" socket wrench, remove the screw.

    2. A0137CO

      Turn the inlet air cleaner No.2.

    3. Remove the inlet air cleaner No.2.

  16. REMOVE TURBO PRESSURE SENSOR

      Disconnect the turbo pressure sensor connector.

    2. Remove the screw and disconnect the hose to remove the turbo pressure sensor.

  17. REMOVE PRIMING PUMP BRACKET


    1. A0136D2

      Separate the priming pump bracket from the air cleaner case.

    2. A01386D

      Remove the priming pump bracket.

  18. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE


    1. A0138CME01

      Using a "torx" socket wrench, loosen the 2 screws.

    2. A0137NFE01

      Remove the 2 wire harness clamps and the air cleaner case.

  19. REMOVE FUEL TEMPERATURE SENSOR


    1. A0138YG

      Separate the fuel temperature sensor from the cylinder head cover.

    2. A01376P

      Disconnect the sensor connector.

    3. A01365S

      Remove the fuel temperature sensor.

    4. A01376C

      Remove the 2 O-rings from the fuel temperature sensor.
