      Measure the resistance between the fuel heater terminals.

      Standard resistance
      Approx. 13 Ω at 20°C (68°F)

      If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel heater.

    2. A0137YJE01

      The fuel filter warning switch is a resistive type sensor. This switch is used to detect moisture in the diesel fuel. The resistance between the two electrodes (indicated by (a) and (b) in the illustration) changes depending on the water content of the fuel. These differing resistance readings are used to determine if water is present.
