RELAY BLOCK INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT ENGINE ROOM RELAY BLOCK

    1. Inspect the EFI MAIN relay.


      1. Disconnect the EFI (25 A) fuse. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals.

        Resistance
        Terminals Specified Condition
        EFI fuse terminal 2 ←→ C2 Below 200 Ω
        EFI fuse terminal 2 ←→ C5 10 kΩ or higher

        Connect the battery positive (+) lead to EFI fuse terminal 2 and the battery negative (-) lead to terminal C2. Using a voltmeter, check the voltage by connecting the positive (+) tester probe to terminal C5 and the negative (-) tester probe to terminal C2.

        Note

        While using the battery for inspection, do not bring the positive and negative tester probes too close to each other as a short circuit may occur.
