  1. INSPECT MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE SENSOR

      Inspect the resistance.


      1. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals.

        Resistance
        Tester Connection Specified Condition
        2 (E1) - 4 (THA) 14.6 to 17.8 kΩ at -20°C (-4°F)
        2 (E1) - 4 (THA) 2.21 to 2.69 kΩ at 20°C (68°F)
        2 (E1) - 4 (THA) 0.29 to 0.354 kΩ at 80°C (176°F)

        If the resistance is not as specified, replace the manifold absolute pressure sensor.
