THROTTLE BODY (w/ Electronic Throttle Control System) REMOVAL


  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 4 clamps.

    2. Remove the 2 clamps, then remove the air cleaner cap and air cleaner filter element.

  3. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY

      Separate the clamps, disconnect the throttle motor connector.

    2. Loosen the 2 clips and disconnect the 2 water by-pass hoses.

      Remove the 4 bolts and throttle body.

  4. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY GASKET

      Remove the gasket from the intake manifold.
