Input the learning value of the throttle position sensor after the following operations:


  • ECM replacement

  • Throttle body assembly replacement


  1. PERFORM ELECTRONIC THROTTLE LEARNING


    1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.

    2. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    3. Turn the ignition switch and tester switch ON.

    4. Clear the DTCs Click here.

      Select the following items: Power train / Engine / Utility / Electric Throttle Learning

    6. Confirm that the initial displayed on the tester screen is satisfied and press ENTER.

    7. A01372H

      Check that "Learning has completed" is displayed on the tester screen.

      Tech Tips

      Electronic throttle learning will not be completed if the battery is weak and it produces a momentary voltage drop, even though the battery voltage is 10 V or more when the ignition switch is in the ON position.
