FRONT STABILIZER BAR INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL NO. 1 FRONT STABILIZER BAR BUSHING

      Install the 2 No. 1 front stabilizer bar bushings to the front stabilizer bar as shown in the illustration.

      Note

      Install the No. 1 front stabilizer bar bushings so that the cutout faces the rear of the vehicle.

  2. INSTALL NO. 2 FRONT STABILIZER BRACKET LH


    1. A017CFM

      Install the No. 2 front stabilizer bracket LH to the No. 1 front stabilizer bar bushing.

  3. INSTALL NO. 2 FRONT STABILIZER BRACKET RH

    Tech Tips

    Perform the same procedure as the LH side.

  4. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER BAR


    1. Install the front stabilizer bar by inserting it from the right side of the vehicle.

  5. INSTALL NO. 1 FRONT STABILIZER BRACKET LH


    1. A017DRG

      Install the No. 1 front stabilizer bracket LH to the front frame assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      29 N*m  { 296 kgf*cm, 21 ft.*lbf }

  6. INSTALL NO. 1 FRONT STABILIZER BRACKET RH

    Tech Tips

    Perform the same procedure as the LH side.

  7. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A017CKL

      Install the front stabilizer link assembly LH with the nut.

      Torque:
      74 N*m  { 755 kgf*cm, 55 ft.*lbf }

      Tech Tips

      If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a hexagon wrench (6 mm) to hold the stud bolt.

  8. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Perform the same procedure as the LH side.
