STEERING WHEEL DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE CRUISE CONTROL MAIN SWITCH (w/ Cruise Control System)

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disconnect the connector.

    3. A017DHH

      Remove the cruise control main switch as shown in the illustration.

  2. REMOVE STEERING PAD SWITCH ASSEMBLY (w/ Steering Pad Switch)


    1. A017EBK

      Disconnect the pad switch connector from the spiral cable.

    2. Remove the screw.

    3. Disengage the 2 pins and remove the steering pad switch.

    4. A017BX9

      Remove the screw.

    5. Disengage the 2 pins and remove the steering pad switch assembly.

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 STEERING WHEEL ORNAMENT (w/o Steering Pad Switch)


    1. A017ECN

      Remove the screw.

    2. A017DVN

      Disengage the 2 pins to remove the No. 2 steering wheel ornament from the steering wheel spoke sub-assembly.

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 STEERING WHEEL ORNAMENT (w/o Steering Pad Switch)

    Tech Tips

    Perform the same procedure as for the No. 2 steering wheel ornament.

  5. REMOVE LOWER STEERING WHEEL BOSS COVER


    1. A017BCH

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. A017F2W

      Disengage the 4 claws to remove the lower steering wheel boss cover from the steering wheel spoke sub-assembly.

  6. REMOVE STEERING PAD ATTACHING SCREW


    1. A017E9V

      Remove the 2 steering pad attaching screws from the lower steering wheel boss cover.
