DOWNHILL ASSIST CONTROL SWITCH INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL DOWNHILL ASSIST CONTROL SWITCH


    1. A017FTDE01

      Engage the 2 claws and install the downhill assist control switch.

    2. A017CBHE01

      Connect the downhill assist control switch connector.

  2. INSTALL UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A017FDP

      Connect the connector.

    2. Engage the 4 claws and 4 clips, and install the upper console panel sub-assembly.

  3. INSTALL CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Smart Entry and Start System)


    1. A017EYQE01

      Apply protective tape to the areas shown in the illustration.

    2. Connect each connector.

    3. Engage the 10 claws and 8 clips, and install the center instrument cluster finish panel assembly.

      Note

      Do not the damage the instrument panel safety pad assembly and lower instrument panel finish panel sub-assembly.

  4. INSTALL CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Smart Entry and Start System)


    1. A017D5UE01

      Apply protective tape to the areas shown in the illustration.

    2. Connect each connector.

    3. Engage the 10 claws and 8 clips, and install the center instrument cluster finish panel assembly.

      Note

      Do not the damage the instrument panel safety pad assembly and lower instrument panel finish panel sub-assembly.

  5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  6. CHECK FOR WARNING LIGHT AND INDICATOR LIGHT
