    INSPECT DOWNHILL ASSIST CONTROL SWITCH


    1. A017FVAE02

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 4 Switch is not pushed in 10 kΩ or higher
      1 - 4 Switch is pushed in Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the downhill assist control switch.

    2. Check the illumination operation.


      1. Connect a battery positive (+) lead to terminal 3 and negative (-) lead to terminal 2. Then check that the bulb in the switch illuminates.

        OK
        Bulb illuminates.

        If the result is not as specified, replace the downhill assist control switch.
