DESCRIPTION

The skid control ECU receives signals from the yaw rate and acceleration sensor via the CAN communication system.

The yaw rate sensor has a built-in acceleration sensor and detects the vehicle condition.

DTC Code DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area
C1442 With terminal IG1 voltage between 9.5 and 17.4 V, an invalid data signal is received from the acceleration sensor for 10 seconds or more. Yaw rate and acceleration sensor

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Note:

When replacing the yaw rate and acceleration sensor, perform zero point calibration (Click here).

PROCEDURE


  1. Click here

    CHECK DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs (Click here).

    2. Start and idle the engine for 60 seconds, and then stop the engine.

    3. Check if the same DTC is recorded (Click here).

      DTCs (C1442 and/or C1443) are output A
      DTCs (C1442 and C1443) are not output B
      Tip:
