FRONT COOLING UNIT DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE NO. 3 AIR DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the 3 claws and remove the No. 3 air duct sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

  2. REMOVE QUICK HEATER ASSEMBLY (w/ PTC Heater)

      Remove the 3 screws.

    2. Remove the quick heater assembly as shown in the illustration.

  3. REMOVE BLOWER ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the 2 screws.

    3. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the blower assembly.

  4. REMOVE FRONT AIR OUTLET CONTROL SERVO MOTOR SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    2. Remove the 3 screws and the front air outlet control servo motor sub-assembly.

  5. REMOVE FRONT AIR MIX CONTROL SERVO MOTOR SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A017DH4

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the 2 screws and front air mix control servo motor sub-assembly.

  6. REMOVE HEATER CLAMP

      Remove the screw and the clamp.

    2. Disengage the 3 claws and remove the heater clamp.

  7. REMOVE HEATER RADIATOR UNIT SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the heater radiator unit sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

      Note

      Prepare a drain pan or cloth in case the cooling water leaks.

  8. REMOVE ASPIRATOR (for Manual Air Conditioning System)

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the aspirator.

  9. REMOVE ASPIRATOR (for Automatic Air Conditioning System)

      Disengage the clamp.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the aspirator.

  10. REMOVE COOLER EXPANSION VALVE


    1. A017FGQ

      Using a 4 mm hexagon wrench, remove the 2 hexagon bolts and cooler expansion valve.

  11. REMOVE NO. 1 COOLER EVAPORATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A017B5I

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the 6 screws.

    3. Disengage the 5 claws and remove the plate cover.

    4. A017EGL

      Disengage the clamp and remove the No. 1 cooler evaporator sub-assembly with the No. 1 cooler thermistor.

    5. A017F5W

      Remove the 2 O-rings from the No. 1 cooler evaporator sub-assembly.

  12. REMOVE NO. 1 COOLER THERMISTOR


    1. A017BUY

      Remove the No. 1 cooler thermistor.
