REAR BUMPER DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for all No. 1 ultrasonic sensors.


    1. Disconnect the connector.

      Detach the 2 claws and remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor.

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for both No. 2 ultrasonic sensors.


    1. Disconnect the connector.

      Detach the 2 claws and remove the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor.

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for all No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainers.

      Detach the 4 claws and remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer.

  4. REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for both No. 2 ultrasonic sensor retainers.

      Detach the 3 claws and remove the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor retainer.

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE ROOM WIRE (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

      Detach the 4 clamps and remove the No. 1 luggage room wire.

  6. REMOVE BACK STEP SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Back Step)


    1. A01BA5H

      Remove the 5 bolts and back step sub-assembly.

  7. REMOVE REAR BUMPER BRACKET CENTER

      Remove the 4 bolts and 4 rear bumper bracket centers.

  8. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT NO.2 LH


    1. A01BCYXE02

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Release the 2 grommet and remove the rear bumper side support No.2 LH.

  9. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT NO.2 RH

  10. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01BBV3E01

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Pull in the direction indicated by the arrow, disengage the 2 pins and separate the rear combination light assembly.

    3. Disconnect the connector and remove the rear combination light assembly.

  11. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

  12. REMOVE REAR BUMPER COVER UPPER LH


    1. A01BCMPE02

      Remove the screw.

    2. Release the clip and 3 claws and remove the rear bumper cover upper.

  13. REMOVE REAR BUMPER COVER UPPER RH
