FRONT BUMPER (for Wide Body) DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE NO. 4 ENGINE ROOM WIRE (w/ Wire Harness)


    1. w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/ Fog Light:


      1. Disconnect the 2 No. 1 ultrasonic sensor connectors.

      2. Disconnect the 2 fog light connectors.

      3. Detach the 11 clamps and remove the No. 4 engine room wire.

    2. w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/o Fog Light:


      1. Disconnect the 2 No. 1 ultrasonic sensor connectors.

      2. Detach the 7 clamps and remove the No. 4 engine room wire.

    3. w/o TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/ Fog Light:


      1. Disconnect the 2 fog light connectors.

      2. Detach the 11 clamps and remove the No. 4 engine room wire.

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for all No. 1 ultrasonic sensors.


    1. Disconnect the connector.

      Detach the 2 claws and remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor.

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for all No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainers.

      Detach the 4 claws and remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer.

  4. REMOVE FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Fog Light)

    1. Remove the clip and screw.

    2. Detach the 4 claws and remove the fog light.

  5. REMOVE FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Fog Light)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  6. REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR GRILLE LH (w/o Fog Light)

    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Detach the 4 claws and remove the lower radiator grille.

  7. REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR GRILLE RH (w/o Fog Light)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  8. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 RADIATOR GRILLE


    1. Detach the 24 claws and remove the lower No. 1 radiator grille.

  9. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER

    Use the same procedure for both front bumper hole covers.


    1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the front bumper hole cover.
