ROOF HEADLINING (w/ Roof Window Glass) REMOVAL


  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH


    1. A01BGMI

      Disengage the 5 clips and remove the front door scuff plate LH.

  3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  4. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM RH

  5. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM LH

  6. REMOVE ASSIST GRIP PLUG


    1. A01BCSQ

      Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 assist grip plugs.

      Tech Tips


      • Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

      • Use the same procedure for RH and LH sides.

  7. REMOVE ASSIST GRIP ASSEMBLY


    1. A01BAU2

      Remove the 2 screws and assist grip.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for RH and LH sides.

  8. REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH RH


    1. A01BHWK

      Using a screwdriver, disengage the clip and 2 claws and remove the front pillar garnish RH.

  9. REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

  10. REMOVE VISOR HOLDER


    1. A01BDBA

      Remove the screw.

    2. Using a moulding remover, disengage the claw and remove the visor holder.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for RH and LH sides.

  11. REMOVE VISOR ASSEMBLY LH

      Remove the 2 screws and visor assembly LH.

  12. REMOVE VISOR ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

  13. REMOVE ASSIST GRIP


    1. A01BAR2

      Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 assist grip plugs.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

    2. A01BDOY

      Remove the 2 screws and assist grip.

  14. REMOVE NO. 1 ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY


    1. A01BDNP

      Using a screwdriver, disengage the 4 claws and remove the light cover.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

    2. A01BG0A

      Remove the 2 screws.

    3. Disconnect the connector and remove the No. 1 room light assembly.

  15. REMOVE NO. 2 ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY


    1. A01BDNP

      Using a screwdriver, disengage the 4 claws and remove the No. 2 room light assembly.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

    2. A01BG0A

      Remove the 2 screws.

    3. Disconnect the connector and remove the No. 2 room light assembly.

  16. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING GARNISH


    1. A01BAXK

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 16 clips and remove the roof headlining garnish.

  17. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING MOULDING


    1. A01BALX

      Remove the 22 clips and 4 roof headlining mouldings.

      Tech Tips


      • If any clip remains on the body side, use a clip remover.

  18. REMOVE ROOF CLIP


    1. A01BAXJ

      Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws and remove the roof clip.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  19. REMOVE NO. 4 ROOF HEADLINING


    1. A01BAB6

      Remove the 17 clips and No. 4 roof headlining.

  20. REMOVE NO. 3 ROOF HEADLINING


    1. A01BBFK

      Remove the 3 clips and No. 3 roof headlining.

  21. REMOVE NO. 2 ROOF HEADLINING


    1. A01BBBX

      Remove the 3 clips and No. 2 roof headlining.

  22. REMOVE NO. 1 ROOF HEADLINING


    1. A01BBMX

      Remove the 7 clips and No. 1 roof headlining.
