BACK DOOR REASSEMBLY


  1. INSTALL BACK DOOR STAY ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01BBCT

      Install the back door stay assembly LH with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      22 N*m  { 224 kgf*cm, 16 ft.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL BACK DOOR STAY ASSEMBLY RH

    Torque:
    22 N*m  { 224 kgf*cm, 16 ft.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL BACK DOOR STOPPER LH


    1. A01BCLUE03

      Install the back door stopper LH with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      7.5 N*m  { 76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf }

  4. INSTALL BACK DOOR STOPPER RH

    Torque:
    7.5 N*m  { 76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf }

  5. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY


    1. A01BC6TE02

      Install the back door lock assembly with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

  6. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOCK PROTECTOR (w/ Rear Bumper Step)


    1. A01BFOU

      Install the back door lock protector with the screw.

  7. INSTALL BACK DOOR STOPPER BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Rough Road Area Spec.)

      Install the back door stopper bracket sub-assembly with the 2 bolts.

  8. INSTALL BACK DOOR NO.2 WIRE


    1. A01BI1YE01

      Engage the clamps.

    2. Install the back door No.2 wire with the bolt.

  9. INSTALL BACK DOOR NO.1 WIRE

  10. INSTALL TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear View Monitor System)


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the rear television camera assembly.

    2. Install the screw.

    3. Connect the connector.

  11. INSTALL BACK DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH

  12. INSTALL BACK DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE


    1. A01BCMI

      Install the back door outside handle with the 2 nuts.

  13. INSTALL BACK DOOR REMOTE CONTROL ASSEMBLY (w/o Power Door Lock)


    1. A01BCA9E01

      Install the back door remote control assembly with the screw.

    2. Connect the wire and link.

    3. Engage the clamp.

  14. INSTALL BACK DOOR REMOTE CONTROL ASSEMBLY (w/ Power Door Lock)


    1. A01BEISE01

      Install the back door remote control assembly with the 3 screws.

    2. Connect the wire and link.

    3. Engage the clamp.

  15. INSTALL BACK DOOR INSIDE HANDLE ASSEMBLY (w/ Back Door Inside Handle)


    1. Install the back door inside handle assembly with the 3 screws.

    2. Connect the link.

  16. INSTALL BACK DOOR TRIM BOARD (for Board)


    1. A01BD78E01

      Engage the 18 clips and install the back door trim board.

  17. INSTALL BACK DOOR TRIM BOARD (for Molded Door Trim)

      Install the back door trim board with the 16 clips.

  18. INSTALL BACK DOOR PULL STRAP (w/ Strap)


    1. A01BAZ0

      Install the back door pull strap with the screw.

  19. INSTALL BACK DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL (w/ Back Door Inside Handle Bezel)


    1. A01BHK4

      Install the back door inside handle bezel with the 2 screws.

  20. INSTALL BACK DOOR INSIDE HANDLE (w/ Back Door Inside Handle)


    1. A01BDEV

      Install the back door inside handle with the screw.

  21. INSTALL REAR WINDOW NO.1 WIRE


    1. A01BBGTE01

      Engage the clamps and install the rear window No.1 wire.

  22. INSTALL BACK DOOR NO.3 WIRE


    1. Pass the end of the back door wire into the cabin, and connect it to the connector.

    2. A01BDL0E01

      Engage the clamps and install the back door No.3 wire.

  23. INSTALL HIGH MOUNTED STOP LIGHT ASSEMBLY (w/ High Mounted Stop Light)


    1. Install a new gasket to the high mounted stop light assembly.

    2. A01BG2G

      Attach the 8 claws to install the high mounted stop light assembly.

    3. Connect the connector.

  24. INSTALL REAR WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear Wiper)

      Install the grommet as shown in the illustration.

    2. A01BBR7E01

      Install the rear wiper motor with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

    3. Install the clamp and connect the connector.

  25. INSTALL REAR WIPER LINK PIVOT NO.1 WASHER (w/ Rear Wiper)

      Install the rear No.1 wiper link pivot washer from the outside of the vehicle with the installation mark at the top.

    2. A01BCFP

      Using the socket wrench (27 mm), install the lock nut.

      Torque:
      12 N*m  { 120 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Do not damage the glass.

  26. INSTALL REAR WIPER SHAFT COVER (w/ Rear Wiper)

  27. INSTALL REAR WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear Wiper)


    1. A01BEJEE03

      Operate the wiper, and stop the rear wiper motor at the automatic stop position.

    2. Clean the wiper arm serrations.

    3. Clean the wiper pivot serrations with a wire brush (when reinstalling).

      Install the rear wiper arm and blade assembly with the nut at the position as shown in the illustration.

      Torque:
      9.8 N*m  { 100 kgf*cm, 87 in.*lbf }

      Tech Tips

      Hold the arm hinge by hand to fasten the nut.

    5. Operate the rear wiper while spraying water or washer fluid on the windshield. Make sure that the wipers function properly and there is no interference with the vehicle body.

  28. INSTALL BACK DOOR TRIM BOARD ASSEMBLY UPPER (w/ Rear Wiper)

      Engage the clips and install the back door trim board assembly upper.

  29. INSTALL BACK DOOR TRIM BOARD ASSEMBLY UPPER (w/o Rear Wiper)

      Engage the clips and install the back door trim board assembly upper.

  30. INSTALL OUTER UNDER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY (w/o Outer Under Rear View Mirror)

      Install the outer under rear view mirror with the 3 screws and the pin.

      Torque:
      10 N*m  { 102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf }
