POWER SLIDE DOOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT POWER SLIDE DOOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY


    1. A01BAM8E03

      Check the resistance.


      1. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals of connector A.

        Standard resistance
        Tester Connection Specified Condition
        q5-4 (CL-) - q5-5 (CL+) Below 3.6 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the power slide door motor.

      2. Apply battery voltage to the power slide door motor and check the resistance of the power slide door motor.

        Standard resistance
        Measurement Condition Tester Connection Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → q1-3 (DSV)

        Battery negative (-) → q1-1 (DSG)

        		 q1-2 (DS2) - q1-1 (DSG) Below 1 Ω
        Battery Disconnected q1-2 (DS2) - q1-1 (DSG) 10 kΩ or higher

        Battery positive (+) → q1-3 (DSV)

        Battery negative (-) → q1-1 (DSG)

        		 q1-4 (DS1) - q1-1 (DSG) Below 1 Ω
        Battery Disconnected q1-4 (DS1) - q1-1 (DSG) 10 kΩ or higher

        If the result is not as specified, replace the power slide door motor.

    2. Check the operation.

      1. Apply battery voltage to the power slide door motor and check the operation of the power slide door motor.

        Standard
        Measurement Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → q5-2 (SD+)

        Battery negative (-) → q5-1 (SD-)

        		 Low- speed open operation (clockwise)

        Battery positive (+) → q5-1 (SD-)

        Battery negative (-) → q5-2 (SD+)

        		 Low- speed close operation (counterclockwise)

        If the result is not as specified, replace the power slide door motor.
