POWER SLIDE DOOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT POWER SLIDE DOOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY


    1. A01BAM8E01

      Check the resistance.


      1. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals of connector A.

        Standard resistance
        Tester Connection Specified Condition
        A5 - A4 Below 3.6 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the power slide door motor.

      2. Apply battery voltage to the power slide door motor and check the resistance of the power slide door motor.

        Standard resistance
        Measurement Condition Tester Connection Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal B3

        Battery negative (-) → Terminal B1

        		 B2 - B1 Below 1 Ω
        Battery Disconnected B2 - B1 10 kΩ or higher

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal B3

        Battery negative (-) → Terminal B1

        		 B4 - B1 Below 1 Ω
        Battery Disconnected B4 - B1 10 kΩ or higher

        If the result is not as specified, replace the power slide door motor.

    2. Check the operation.

      1. Apply battery voltage to the power slide door motor and check the operation of the power slide door motor.

        Standard
        Measurement Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal A3

        Battery negative (-) → Terminal A1

        		 Opens at high speeds

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal A2

        Battery negative (-) → Terminal A1

        		 Opens at low speeds

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal A1

        Battery negative (-) → Terminal A3

        		 Closes at high speeds

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal A1

        Battery negative (-) → Terminal A2

        		 Closes at low speeds

        If the result is not as specified, replace the power slide door motor.
