SLIDE DOOR LOCK RELEASE MOTOR INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT SLIDE DOOR LOCK RELEASE MOTOR

      Check the operation of the slide door lock release motor.


      1. Disconnect the connector.

      2. Apply battery voltage to the slide door lock release motor and check the operation of the slide door lock release motor.

        Standard
        Measurement Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 6

        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 5

        		 Motor gear rotates clockwise

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 5

        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 6

        		 Motor gear rotates counterclockwise

        If the result is not as specified, replace the slide door lock release motor.

      Check the resistance of the initial position switch and full switch.


      1. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance and check the results in accordance with the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard resistance
        Switch Cam Position Tester Connection Specified Condition
        Initial Position Switch A 1 - 2 Below 1 Ω
        Initial Position Switch Any position other than A 1 - 2 10 kΩ or higher
        Full Switch B 3 - 4 Below 1 Ω
        Full Switch Any position other than B 3 - 4 10 kΩ or higher

        If the result is not as specified, replace the slide door lock release motor.
