SLIDE DOOR (w/ Power Slide Door) REASSEMBLY


  1. INSTALL SLIDE DOOR LOWER ROLLER ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Install the slide door lower roller with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      19 N*m  { 194 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL SLIDE DOOR CENTER HINGE ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Install the slide door roller center hinge with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      19 N*m  { 194 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL SLIDE DOOR ROLLER ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Install the slide door roller with the 2 bolts

      Torque:
      12 N*m  { 122 kgf*cm, 8.9 ft.*lbf }

  4. INSTALL SLIDE DOOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Fit the slide door hinge center base of the slide door back into the slide rail center from the rear of the vehicle.

    2. Insert the slide door roller upper base of the slide door into the cut area in the slide door rail upper.

    3. Fit the slide door rail lower base of the slide door through the cut area in the slide door rail lower.

  5. INSTALL SLIDE DOOR UPPER RAIL CUSHION LH

    1. Install the slide door upper rail cushion with the bolt.

  6. INSTALL SLIDE RAIL END MOULDING LH

    1. Engage the clip and install the slide rail end moulding.

  7. INSTALL POWER SLIDE DOOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY


    1. A01BGBP

      Install the power slide door motor with the 10 bolts.

      Torque:
      7.8 N*m  { 80 kgf*cm, 69 in.*lbf }
    2. A01BE2S

      Install the 2 grommets.

    3. Install the slide door lower roller assembly LH onto the belt bracket of the power slide door motor assembly.

    4. A01BBPH

      Install the slide door lower rail plate with the bolt.

      Torque:
      8.3 N*m  { 85 kgf*cm, 73 in.*lbf }
    5. A01BABJ

      Tighten the slide door lower roller assembly LH and belt bracket with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      7.8 N*m  { 80 kgf*cm, 69 in.*lbf }

  8. INSTALL SLIDE DOOR WIRE

    1. Engage the clamps and install the slide door wire.

    2. Tighten the bolt.

  9. INSTALL SLIDE DOOR LOCK REMOTE CONTROL ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01BEAQ

      Install the slide door lock remote control with the 5 bolts.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

  10. INSTALL SLIDE DOOR LOCK RELEASE MOTOR

    1. Install the slide door lock release motor with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

    2. Connect the link.

    3. Connect the connector.

  11. INSTALL POWER SLIDE DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01BFAX

      Using "TORX" socket wrench T30, install the power slide door lock with the 3 screws.

      Torque:
      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

    2. Tighten the bolt.

    3. Engage the clamps and connect the connector.

  12. INSTALL DOOR OPENING RELAY

    1. Install the door opening relay with the bolt.

    2. Connect the connector.

  13. INSTALL SLIDE DOOR FULL OPEN STOP LOCK ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01BHW0

      Install the slide door full open stop lock with the 2 bolts.

    2. Engage the clamp.

  14. INSTALL SLIDE DOOR DOWN FEMALE STOPPER


    1. A01BDIS

      Install the slide door down female stop with the bolt.

  15. INSTALL POWER SLIDE DOOR TOUCH SENSOR

    1. Engage the 2 clips and install the power slide door touch sensor.

    2. Tighten the 3 bolts.

    3. Using "TORX" socket wrench T25, tighten the 6 screws.

    4. Connect the connector.

  16. INSTALL SLIDE DOOR FRONT LOCK ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01BHUF

      Using "TORX" socket wrench T30, install the slide door front lock with the 3 screws.

      Torque:
      5.0 N*m  { 51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf }

    2. Clamp the cable and install the end of the cable to the slide door lock remote control.

  17. INSTALL REAR DOOR LOCK CHILD PROTECTION COVER LH


    1. for Cover Type:

        Install the rear door lock child protection cover with the clip.

    2. for Tape Type:

      Tech Tips

      When installing the front door weatherstrip, heat the vehicle body using a heat light.

      Note

      Do not heat the vehicle body excessively.


      1. Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body.

      2. Remove the double-sided tape from the vehicle body.

      3. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

        Install a new rear door lock child protection cover.

  18. INSTALL REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01BB3U

      Install the rear door outside handle with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

    2. Connect the 2 links.

  19. INSTALL REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Install the rear door inside handle with the 2 bolts.

    2. Connect the links.

  20. INSTALL SLIDE DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER LH

    1. Apply butyl tape to the door panel, then install a new slide door service hole cover as shown in the illustration.

      Tech Tips


      • When installing the service hole cover, pull the links and connectors out through the service hole.

      • There should be no wrinkles or folds after attaching the service hole cover.

      • After attaching the service hole cover, check the quality of the seal.

    2. Connect the cable to the slide door lock remote control.

    3. Engage the clamp.

  21. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 DOOR WIRE

      Engage the 4 clips and install the rear No. 2 door wire.

      Note

      Engage the clips by directly pushing them in by hand, not by tapping on the case surface.

    2. Tighten the 4 bolts.

      Note

      Do not tighten the bolts with any wire harness or cable wedged under the case as it may cause the case to deform or malfunction.

    3. A01BDBP

      Make sure that the wire harness is not twisted, and tighten the bolts after the clamp is fully secured by turning it in the direction indicated by the arrow mark.

    4. Connect the connector.

  22. INSTALL DOOR CONTROL RELAY ASSEMBLY

    1. Install the door control relay with the bolt.

    2. Connect the connectors.

  23. INSTALL SIDE STEP REAR SUPPORT LH

    1. Install the side step rear support with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      7.8 N*m  { 80 kgf*cm, 69 in.*lbf }

  24. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH


    1. A01BDOD

      Connect the connector.

    2. Engage the claw and 12 clips and install the rear door scuff plate.

  25. INSTALL REAR DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01BE02

      Engage the claw and 19 clips, and install the rear door trim board.

    2. A01BC6A

      Using "TORX" socket wrench T25, tighten the 2 screws.

  26. INSTALL SLIDE DOOR WINDOW GARNISH LH


    1. A01BCLJ

      Engage the 4 clips and install the slide door window garnish.

  27. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Torque:
    5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

  28. INSPECT AND ADJUST SLIDE DOOR
