DESCRIPTION

The power slide door system uses a buzzer built on the door control relay assembly. The buzzer emits different beeping patterns depending on the type of operation being performed (open, close, switch or inside/outside handle).

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BUZZER - DOOR CONTROL RELAY ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the I2 buzzer connector.

    2. Disconnect the I4 door control relay assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      I2-1 - I4-1 (BZR) Always Below 1 Ω
      I2-2 - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      I2-1 or I4-1 (BZR) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
