POWER SLIDE DOOR SYSTEM Vehicle Speed Signal Circuit

DESCRIPTION

The vehicle speed sensor outputs speed signals to the power slide door ECU LH. If the vehicle speed is approximately 3 km/h (1 mph) or more, the power slide door ECU LH will not operate the power slide door.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER SLIDE DOOR ECU LH - COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY)


    1. A01BAKPE02

      Disconnect the q4 connector from the power slide door ECU LH.

    2. Disconnect the H20 connector from the combination meter assembly.

    3. Measure the resistance.

      Standard resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      q4-26 (SPD) - H20-9 (+S) Always Below 1 Ω

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK

  2. CHECK COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY
