POWER SLIDE DOOR SYSTEM Park / Neutral Position Switch Circuit

DESCRIPTION

The park/neutral position (PNP) switch outputs switch signals to the power slide door ECU LH.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT POWER SLIDE DOOR ECU LH


    1. A01BD38E04

      Disconnect the q4 connector from the power slide door ECU LH.

    2. Measure the voltage.

      Standard voltage
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      q4-10 (CPSW) - Body ground

      Ignition switch ON

      1: Shift lever not in P position →

      2: P position

      1: 0 V →

      2: 11 to 14 V

    NG

    INSPECT PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH Click here

    OK

    REPLACE POWER SLIDE DOOR ECU LH

  2. INSPECT PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH


    1. A01BGXME01

      Disconnect the D37 connector from the park/neutral position switch.

    2. Measure the resistance.

      Standard resistance
      Tester Connection Shift Position Specified Condition
      D37-2 (RB) - D37-6 (PL) P Below 1 Ω
      D37-2 (RB) - D37-6 (PL) Except P 10 k Ω or higher

    NG

    REPLACE PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH

    OK

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER SLIDE DOOR ECU LH - PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH)


    1. A01BAPJE02

      Measure the resistance.

      Standard resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition

      Tester probe positive (+) to D37-6 (PL)

      Tester probe negative (-) to q4-10 (CPSW)

      		 Always Below 1 Ω
      q4-21 (SEL) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

    NG

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK
