POWER SLIDE DOOR SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM

  1. SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM

    Tech Tips

    • The self-diagnostic system has 3 modes: operation confirmation mode, input confirmation mode and malfunctioning operation memory mode.

    • In operation confirmation mode, the system can be checked for switch malfunctions by performing a predetermined door operation. If a switch malfunction is detected, a code will be output and a buzzer will sound.

    • In input confirmation mode, the system checks if each switch is inputting data properly. If a switch malfunction is detected, a buzzer will sound.

    • In malfunctioning operation memory mode, switch malfunctions that are detected while using the system are saved in memory. Then the memory can be accessed and read.

    • 3 modes are available for use with the self-diagnostic system inspection: self-diagnostic mode 1, self-diagnostic mode 2 and self-diagnostic mode 3.

    • During self-diagnostic mode 1, the operation confirmation mode's switch malfunction detection function and input confirmation mode are performed.

    • During self-diagnostic mode 2, the switch malfunctions that were detected during operation confirmation mode (self-diagnostic mode 1) are output by sounding buzzer patterns.

    • During self-diagnostic mode 3, malfunctioning operation memory mode is entered and codes are output by sounding buzzer patterns.
