1-2 Power Slide Door Sensor Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

When the power slide door ECU LH receives a jam signal from the power slide door sensor assembly, the power slide door ECU LH stops closing the power slide door.

When the power slide door ECU LH determines the open circuit in the power slide door sensor LH circuit, code 1-2 is output.

  1. INSPECT POWER SLIDE DOOR SENSOR ASSEMBLY


    1. A01BD2QE01

      Disconnect the p6 connector from the power slide door sensor assembly.

    2. Measure the resistance of the sensor.

      Standard resistance
      Tester Connection Sensor Condition Specified Condition
      p6-1 (OS) - p6-2 (OSG) Not pressed Approximately 1 k Ω
      p6-1 (OS) - p6-2 (OSG) Pressed Below 100 Ω

      Tech Tips

      The force is 2.0 kg (4.49 lb) or more to press the power slide door sensor assembly.

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER SLIDE DOOR SENSOR ASSEMBLY - POWER SLIDE DOOR ECU LH)

      Disconnect the q4 connector from the power slide door ECU LH.

    2. Measure the resistance.

      Standard resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      q4-14 (OS) - p6-1 (OS) Always Below 1 Ω
      q4-13 (SGND) - p6-2 (OSG) Always Below 1 Ω
