  1. INSPECT HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH (RHD)

      Measure the resistance.

      Standard resistance
      Light control switch
      Tester connection Switch operation Specified condition

      9 - 15

      		 OFF 10 kΩ or higher
      9 - 15 TAIL Below 1 Ω

      9 - 14

      9 - 15

      		 HEAD Below 1 Ω
      9 - 13 AUTO Below 1 Ω
      Headlight dimmer switch
      Tester connection Switch operation Specified condition

      1 - 9

      2 - 9

      		 FLASH Below 1 Ω
      9 - 10 LOW BEAM Below 1 Ω
      2 - 9 HIGH BEAM Below 1 Ω
      Turn signal switch
      Tester connection Switch operation Specified condition
      7 - 8 Right turn Below 1 Ω

      6 - 7

      7 - 8

      		 Neutral 10 kΩ or higher
      6 - 7 Left turn Below 1 Ω
      Fog light switch
      Tester connection Switch operation Specified condition
      12 - 16 OFF 10 kΩ or higher
      12 - 16 ON Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight dimmer switch.

  2. INSPECT HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH (LHD)

      Measure the resistance.

      		 FLASH Below 1 Ω
      16 - 17 LOW BEAM Below 1 Ω
      7 - 16 HIGH BEAM Below 1 Ω
      Turn signal switch
      Tester connection Switch operation Specified condition
      2 - 3 Right turn Below 1 Ω

      1 - 2

      2 - 3

      		 Neutral 10 kΩ or higher
      1 - 2 Left turn Below 1 Ω
      Fog light switch
      Tester connection Switch operation Specified condition
      10 - 11 OFF 10 k Ω or higher
      10 - 11 ON Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight dimmer switch.
