HAZARD WARNING SWITCH INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT HAZARD WARNING SWITCH


    1. A01BI36

      Inspect the hazard warning switch operation.


      1. Remove the hazard warning switch.

      2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Resistance
        Tester connection Switch operation Specified condition
        3 - 4 OFF 10 kΩ or higher
        3 - 4 ON Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the hazard warning switch.

    2. Inspect the illumination operation.


      1. Apply battery voltage to the hazard warning switch connector.

        OK
        Measurement condition Specified condition

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1

        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 2

        		 Illumination comes on

        If the result is not as specified, replace the hazard warning switch.
