HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY (for Halogen Headlight) REASSEMBLY

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.


  1. INSTALL HEADLIGHT LEVELING MOTOR BASE PACKING (w/ Headlight Leveling)


    1. Install a new headlight leveling motor base packing to the headlight unit LH.

  2. INSTALL HEADLIGHT LEVELING MOTOR LH (w/ Headlight Leveling)

    1. Insert the headlight leveling motor LH and turn the aiming screw in the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration to install the headlight leveling motor LH.

    2. A01BBHU

      Rotate the headlight leveling motor LH in the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration and attach the claw.

  3. INSTALL DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT BULB (w/ Daytime Running Light)

    1. Install the daytime running light bulb to the daytime running light socket.

  4. INSTALL DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT SOCKET (w/ Daytime Running Light)

    1. Turn the daytime running light socket with the daytime running light bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow to install them as a unit.

  5. INSTALL CLEARANCE LIGHT BULB

    A01BDU3

    1. Install the clearance light bulb to the clearance light socket.

  6. INSTALL CLEARANCE LIGHT SOCKET

    A01BBQN

    1. Turn the clearance light socket with the clearance light bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow to install them as a unit.

  7. INSTALL FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB

    A01BBSN

    1. Install the front turn signal light bulb to the front turn signal light socket.

  8. INSTALL FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT SOCKET

    1. Turn the front turn signal light socket with the front turn signal light bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow to install them as a unit.

  9. INSTALL NO. 1 HEADLIGHT BULB

    A01BFJ1

    1. Set the No. 1 headlight bulb to the headlight unit LH.

    2. Lock the set spring to install the No. 1 headlight bulb to the headlight unit LH.

      Note

      Do not touch the No. 1 headlight bulb glass.

  10. INSTALL NO. 2 HEADLIGHT COVER LH


    1. Install the No. 2 headlight cover LH to the headlight unit LH.
