Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.


  1. REMOVE NO. 2 HEADLIGHT COVER LH

    1. Remove the No. 2 headlight cover LH from the headlight unit LH.

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 HEADLIGHT BULB

    1. Release the set spring lock and remove the No. 1 headlight bulb.

      Note

      Do not touch the No. 1 headlight bulb glass.

  3. REMOVE FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT SOCKET

    1. Turn the front turn signal light socket with the front turn signal light bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow to remove them as a unit.

  4. REMOVE FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB

    1. Remove the front turn signal light bulb from the front turn signal light socket.

  5. REMOVE CLEARANCE LIGHT SOCKET

    1. Turn the clearance light socket with the clearance light bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow to remove them as a unit.

  6. REMOVE CLEARANCE LIGHT BULB

    1. Remove the clearance light bulb from the clearance light socket.

  7. REMOVE DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT SOCKET (w/ Daytime Running Light)

    1. Turn the daytime running light socket with the daytime running light bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow to remove them as a unit.

  8. REMOVE DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT BULB (w/ Daytime Running Light)

    1. Remove the daytime running light bulb from the daytime running light socket.

  9. REMOVE HEADLIGHT LEVELING MOTOR LH (w/ Headlight Leveling)

    1. Detach the claw and rotate the headlight leveling motor LH in the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration.

      *1 Aiming Screw

      Turn the aiming screw of the headlight leveling motor LH in the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration and remove the headlight leveling motor LH.

  10. REMOVE HEADLIGHT LEVELING MOTOR BASE PACKING (w/ Headlight Leveling)

    1. Remove the headlight leveling motor base packing from the headlight unit LH.
