HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY (for Halogen Headlight) ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY (HEADLIGHT BEAM LEVEL CONTROL ACTUATOR OPERATION)

      Disconnect the headlight beam level control actuator connector.

    2. Connect the battery's positive (+) lead to headlight leveling switch terminal 1 and negative (-) lead to headlight leveling switch terminal 2.

    3. Connect the battery's positive (+) lead to each of the headlight beam level control actuator terminals (3) and the negative (-) lead to each of the headlight beam level control actuator terminals (1).

    4. Connect headlight leveling switch terminal 4 and LH side headlight beam level control actuator terminal 2.

    5. Connect headlight leveling switch terminal 5 and RH side headlight beam level control actuator terminal 2.

    6. Inspect the headlight beam level control actuator operation when the headlight leveling switch is operated.

      OK
      Headlight beam leveling control actuators are operated.

      If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight assembly.
