LIGHTING SYSTEM FAIL-SAFE CHART


  1. Automatic light control system


    1. If the frequency output from the automatic light control sensor becomes 30 Hz or less, the body ECU will activate the fail-safe function.

    2. If a problem occurs in the automatic light control system when the headlight dimmer switch assembly is in the AUTO position and the headlights or taillights are on, the body ECU will keep the lights on until the headlight dimmer switch assembly is turned off or the conditions for activating the headlight auto cut system are met.

    3. If a problem occurs in the automatic light control system when the headlight dimmer switch assembly is in the AUTO position, and both headlights and taillights are off, the body ECU will interrupt the automatic light control system operation and keep both headlights and taillights off until the frequency output from the automatic light control sensor is determined to be normal.
