HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY (for LED Headlight) DISASSEMBLY

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.


  1. REMOVE NO. 1 HEADLIGHT BULB

    1. Turn the No. 1 headlight bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow to remove it.

      Note

      Do not touch the No. 1 headlight bulb glass.

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 HEADLIGHT COVER LH

    1. Remove the No. 2 headlight cover LH from the headlight unit LH.

  3. REMOVE FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT SOCKET

    1. Turn the front turn signal light socket with the front turn signal light bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow to remove them as a unit.

  4. REMOVE FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB

    1. Remove the front turn signal light bulb from the front turn signal light socket.

  5. REMOVE CLEARANCE LIGHT BULB

    1. Turn the headlight cord with the clearance light bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow to disconnect them as a unit.

    2. A01BGLB

      Remove the clearance light bulb from the headlight cord.

  6. REMOVE HEADLIGHT LEVELING MOTOR LH

    1. Detach the claw and rotate the headlight leveling motor LH in the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration.

      *1 Aiming Screw

      Turn the aiming screw of the headlight leveling motor LH in the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration and remove the headlight leveling motor LH.

  7. REMOVE HEADLIGHT LEVELING MOTOR BASE PACKING

    1. Remove the headlight leveling motor base packing from the headlight unit LH.

  8. REMOVE HEADLIGHT LIGHT CONTROL ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Turn the headlight light control ECU sub-assembly LH in the direction indicated by the arrow to disconnect the headlight light control ECU sub-assembly LH.

    2. A01BBYA

      Disconnect the connector and remove the headlight light control ECU sub-assembly LH.

  9. REMOVE NO. 1 HEADLIGHT BACK COVER

    A01BCRB

    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Detach the guide and remove the No. 1 headlight back cover.

  10. REMOVE HEADLIGHT GASKET

    A01BAUH

    1. Remove the headlight gasket from the No. 1 headlight back cover.

  11. REMOVE HEADLIGHT CORD

    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Detach the 3 guides.

    3. Disconnect the grommet and remove the headlight cord.
