INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT (DRIVER SIDE)


    1. A01BCKLE03

      Disconnect the B11 (R2) connector.

    2. Measure the resistance when the switch is operated.

      Standard resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 2 Seat belt is fastened 10 kΩ or higher
      1 - 2 Seat belt is unfastened Below 1 Ω

    NG

    REPLACE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT (DRIVER SIDE)

    OK

  2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (COMBINATION METER - FRONT SEAT INNER BELT)


    1. A01BH6RE02

      Disconnect the B11 (R2) and H20 connectors.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance
      LHD Models
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      R2-2 - H20-19 (L) Always Below 1 Ω
      R2-1 - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      R2-2 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      RHD Models
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      B11-2 - H20-19 (L) Always Below 1 Ω
      B11-1 - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      B11-2 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    NG

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK

    PROCEED TO NEXT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
