FRONT AIRBAG SENSOR REMOVAL


  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL

    Note

    Wait for 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent the airbag working.

  2. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT (NARROW BODY TYPE)


  3. REMOVE AIR INLET DUCT NO.1 (NARROW BODY TYPE(W/ INTERCOOLER))


    1. A01BDSHE01

      Remove the 3 clips and the air inlet duct No.2.

    2. Remove the 2 bolts, 2 clips and the air inlet duct No.1.

  4. REMOVE AIR INLET DUCT NO.2 (NARROW BODY TYPE(W/ INTERCOOLER))

  5. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL UPPER (NARROW BODY TYPE(W/O INTERCOOLER))

      Remove the 6 clips and radiator support seal upper.

  6. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE

      Remove the 2 clips and 2 screws.

    2. Release the 6 claws and 4 clips and remove the radiator grille.

  7. REMOVE STEP PLATE COVER LH (NARROW BODY TYPE)

      Remove the 4 clips.

    2. Release the claw and remove the step plate cover.

  8. REMOVE STEP PLATE COVER RH (NARROW BODY TYPE)

  9. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER (NARROW BODY TYPE)

      Remove the 8 clips and 3 bolts.

    2. Release the 12 claws and remove the bumper.

    3. Disconnect the connectors. (w/ fog light)

  10. REMOVE RADIATOR RESERVE TANK ASSEMBLY (NARROW BODY TYPE)


    1. A01BHM3

      Remove the bolt, and separate the radiator reserve tank assembly from the body panel.

    2. Remove the clip, and disconnect the water by-pass hose No.1.

    3. Remove the clip, and disconnect the water by-pass hose No.2.

    4. Remove the radiator reserve tank assembly.

  11. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WASHER MOTOR AND PUMP ASSEMBLY (NARROW BODY TYPE)

      Remove the 2 bolts.

    2. Separate the hose and connector, and remove the windshield washer jar assembly.

  12. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY (NARROW BODY TYPE)


    1. A01BBWB

      Remove the 3 bolts, hood lock control cable and the hood lock assembly.

  13. REMOVE HOOD LOCK SUPPORT BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY (NARROW BODY TYPE)

  14. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT UPPER (NARROW BODY TYPE)


    1. A01BFVV

      Remove the 6 bolts, 2 screws and the radiator upper support.

  15. REMOVE FRONT AIRBAG SENSOR


    1. A01BDW2

      Remove the 2 bolts and front airbag sensor from the body.

    2. Disconnect the connector.
