FRONT BLOWER SWITCH INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT FRONT BLOWER SWITCH


    1. Remove the front blower switch and disconnect the connector.

    2. A01BF7HE01

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance
      Tester connection Switch position Specified condition
      ALL - 8 (E) OFF 10 kΩ or higher
      1 (C) - 8 (E) LO Below 1 Ω
      3 (M1) - 8 (E) M1 Below 1 Ω
      2 (M2) - 8 (E) M2 Below 1 Ω
      6 (H) - 8 (E) HI Below 1 Ω
      4 (P1) - 5 (P2) Always Below 1 Ω

      If the resistance value is not as specified, replace the front blower switch.

    3. Connect the positive battery terminal to terminal 4 (P1), and the negative battery terminal to terminal 5 (P2).

      OK
      The illumination light of the front blower switch comes on.

      If the resistance value is not as specified, replace the front blower switch.
