HEATER SWITCH (for Rear Heater) INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT HEATER SWITCH

    1. Remove the heater switch and disconnect the connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance
      Tester connection Switch position Specified condition
      1 (TAIL) - 2 (L1) Always Below 1 Ω
      3 (S+) - 4 (S-) OFF → ON 10 kΩ or higher → Below 1 Ω
      6 (IND) - 5 (E) Always Below 1 Ω

      If the resistance value is not as specified, replace the heater switch.
