COMPRESSOR AND MAGNETIC CLUTCH (for 1KD-FTV, 2KD-FTV) ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT COMPRESSOR AND MAGNETIC CLUTCH


    1. A01BCW7E02

      Disconnect the connector from the compressor and magnetic clutch.

    2. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 3 and the negative (-) lead to the body ground.

    3. Check that the magnetic clutch energized.

      OK
      The magnetic clutch energized.

    4. Measure the resistance between terminals 1 and 2.

      Standard resistance
      65 to 125 Ω at 20 °C (68 °F)

      If the resistance value is not as specified, replace the compressor and magnetic clutch.
