CONDENSER REMOVAL


  1. DISCHARGE REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM


    1. Start up the engine.

    2. Turn the A/C switch on.

    3. Operate the cooler compressor at an engine rpm of approximately 1,000 for 5 to 6 minutes to circulate the refrigerant and collect compressor oil remaining in each component into the cooler compressor as much as possible.

    4. Stop the engine.

    5. Using SST, let the refrigerant gas out.

  2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER (for Standard Body)


    1. Remove the front bumper cover Click here.

  3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER (for Wide Body)


    1. Remove the front bumper cover Click here.

  4. REMOVE HOOD LOCK SUPPORT BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 3 bolts and hood lock support brace sub-assembly.

  5. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR CROSS MEMBER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (for Standard Body)

    1. Remove the 5 bolts and front floor crossmember reinforcement.

  6. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR CROSS MEMBER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (for Wide Body)

    1. Remove the 6 bolts and front floor crossmember reinforcement.

  7. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT

    1. Remove the 6 bolts and front bumper reinforcement.

  8. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT (for Wide Body)

    1. Remove the 6 bolts and front bumper reinforcement.

  9. DISCONNECT COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE PIPE A


    1. A01BF96

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the cooler refrigerant discharge pipe A from the cooler condenser assembly.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the cooler refrigerant discharge pipe A.

      Note

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent moisture and foreign matter from entering.

  10. DISCONNECT COOLER REFRIGERANT LIQUID PIPE A

      Remove the bolt and clamp.

    2. A01BFQT

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe A from the cooler condenser assembly.

    3. Remove the O-ring from the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe A.

      Note

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent moisture and foreign matter from entering.

  11. REMOVE W/ RECEIVER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 4 bolts and w/ receiver condenser assembly.
