BLOWER UNIT INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL BLOWER UNIT


    1. A01BFB9

      Install the wire harness with the screw. (w/ PTC)

    2. A01BC6ME03

      Install the blower unit with the 4bolts.

    3. Install the 2 clamps and 2 connectors.

    4. Install the 2 connectors. (w/ PTC)

    5. A01BDDF

      Install the junction block with the nut. (body type narrow)

    6. A01BCCT

      Install the junction block with the 2 nuts.(RHD)

  2. INSTALL AIR DUCT NO.2


    1. A01BGCOE01

      Engage the 2 claws to install the air duct No.2.

  3. INSTALL STEERING INTERMEDIATE SHAFT


    1. Align the matchmarks on the steering intermediate shaft assembly No.2 and the steering gear assembly.

    2. A01BC00E01

      Temporarily install the bolt.

  4. INSTALL STEERING COLUMN ASSEMBLY


    1. Temporarily install the steering column assembly with the 3 bolts.

      A01BFD9E01

    2. Fully tighten the 3 bolts on the steering column assembly.

      Torque:
      21 N*m  { 214 kgf*cm, 16 ft.*lbf }

    3. Fully tighten the bolt on the steering intermediate shaft assembly No.2.

      Torque:
      36 N*m  { 367 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Ensure that the steering column assembly is in the lowermost tilt position.

    4. Connect the connectors and clamp the wire harness to the steering column assembly bracket.

    5. A01BCES

      Install the steering shaft cover with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

  5. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL ASSEMBLY

  6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  7. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
