BLOWER UNIT REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL

    Tech Tips

    Wait for 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent the airbag working

  2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL ASSEMBLY

  3. REMOVE STEERING INTERMEDIATE SHAFT

      Remove the 3 bolts and the steering shaft cover.

    2. A01BC00E01

      Remove the bolt.

    3. Slide the steering intermediate shaft assembly No.2 and put matchmarks on the steering gear assembly and the steering intermediate shaft assembly No.2.

  4. REMOVE STEERING COLUMN ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect the connectors and wire harness clamps from the steering column assembly.

    2. Remove the 3 bolts and the steering column assembly.

  5. REMOVE AIR DUCT NO.2

      Release the 2 claws and remove the air duct No.2.

  6. REMOVE BLOWER UNIT

      Remove the 2 nuts and junction block.(RHD)

    2. A01BDDF

      Remove the nut and junction block. (body type narrow)

    3. A01BC6ME03

      Remove the 2 clamps and 2connectors, and then disconnect the wire harness.

    4. Disconnect the 2 connectors. (w/ PTC)

    5. Remove the 3 bolts and the blower unit.

      Remove the screw and wire harness. (w/ PTC)
