STEERING BEVEL GEAR INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL STEERING BEVEL GEAR ASSEMBLY


    1. A01BBVYE01

      Install the steering bevel gear assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      44 N*m  { 449 kgf*cm, 33 ft.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL STEERING BEVEL GEAR HOUSING BRACKET


    1. A01BC4RE01

      Install the steering bevel gear housing bracket with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      44 N*m  { 449 kgf*cm, 33 ft.*lbf }

  3. PLACE FRONT WHEELS FACING STRAIGHT AHEAD

  4. CONNECT STEERING SLIDING YOKE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01BCE2E01

      Align the matchmarks on the steering sliding yoke sub-assembly and the steering bevel gear assembly.

    2. A01BFH7E01

      Install bolt (B) and tighten the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      35 N*m  { 360 kgf*cm, 26 ft.*lbf }

  5. INSTALL FAN SHROUD

    Click here for 2TR-FE, Click here for 2KD-FTV, Click here for 5L-E, Click here for 1TR-FE

  6. CONNECT OIL COOLER HOSE (for Automatic Transmission)

    Click here for 2TR-FE, Click here for 2KD-FTV, Click here for 1TR-FE

  7. INSTALL FAN BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here for 2TR-FE, Click here for 2KD-FTV, Click here for 5L-E, Click here for 1TR-FE

  8. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER NO.1

  9. INSTALL STEERING INTERMEDIATE SHAFT


    1. A01BFZ7E01

      Align the matchmarks on the steering intermediate shaft and the steering bevel gear assembly.

    2. Install the bolt.

      Torque:
      35 N*m  { 360 kgf*cm, 26 ft.*lbf }

  10. INSTALL STEERING COLUMN HOLE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY NO.1


    1. A01BHWZE01

      Install the steering column hole cover sub-assembly No.1 with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

  11. CONNECT STEERING INTERMEDIATE SHAFT ASSEMBLY NO.2


    1. A01BDU0E01

      Align the matchmarks on the steering intermediate shaft assembly No.2 and the steering intermediate shaft.

    2. A01BEDSE01

      Install bolt (B) and tighten the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      35 N*m  { 360 kgf*cm, 26 ft.*lbf }

  12. INSTALL STEERING COLUMN HOLE COVER


    1. A01BHOH

      Install the steeling column hole cover with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }
