FIX VANE PUMP
Using SST, hold the vane pump assembly in a vice.
REMOVE SUCTION PORT UNION
Remove the bolt and the suction port union.
Remove the O-ring from the suction port union.
REMOVE FLOW CONTROL VALVE
Remove the pressure port union.
Remove the O-ring from the pressure port union.
Remove the flow control valve and the compression spring.
REMOVE VANE PUMP REAR HOUSING
Remove the 4 bolts and the rear vane pump housing.
Remove the O-ring from the rear vane pump housing.
REMOVE VANE PUMP ROTOR
Remove the 10 vane pump plates.
Remove the vane pump rotor.
REMOVE VANE PUMP CAM RING
REMOVE VANE PUMP FRONT SIDE PLATE
Remove the front vane pump side plate from the front vane pump housing.
Remove the O-ring from the front vane pump side plate.
Remove the O-ring from the front vane pump housing.
REMOVE VANE PUMP GEAR
Using a screwdriver, remove snap ring from the front vane pump housing.
Tech Tips
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
Wrap the serration of the vane pump shaft with protective tape.
Using a press, remove the vane pump shaft from the front vane pump housing.
Note
Do not drop the vane pump shaft.
Temporarily install the service bolt.

Using SST and a press, remove the vane pump gear from the vane pump shaft.
REMOVE VANE PUMP SHAFT BEARING
Using SST and a press, remove the vane pump shaft bearing from the vane pump shaft.
Using a snap ring expander, remove the vane pump shaft snap ring from the vane pump shaft.
REMOVE VANE PUMP HOUSING OIL SEAL
Using SST, remove the vane pump housing oil seal from the front vane pump housing.
