5L-E VACUUM PUMP INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL VACUUM PUMP ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the vacuum pump with the 4 bolts to the generator assembly.

      Torque:
      7.8 N*m  { 80 kgf*cm, 69 in.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL GENERATOR W/ VACUUM PUMP ASSEMBLY

  3. INSPECT VACUUM PUMP ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect the vacuum hose.

    2. Connect the vacuum gauge to the vacuum pump.

    3. Start the engine.

      Measure the vacuum with the engine idling.

      Standard
      More than 650 mmHg (86.7 kPa).
