BRAKE ACTUATOR REMOVAL


  1. DRAIN BRAKE FLUID

  2. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT


  3. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL

  4. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER NO.1

  5. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE

      Remove the 2 clips and 2 screws.

    2. Release the 6 claws and 4 clips and remove the radiator grille.

  6. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL UPPER (LHD (W/O INTERCOOLER ASSEMBLY))

      Remove the 6 clips and radiator support seal upper.

  7. REMOVE AIR INLET DUCT NO.1 (LHD (W/ INTERCOOLER ASSEMBLY))

      Remove the 3 clips and the air inlet duct No.2.

    2. Remove the 2 bolts, 2 clips and the air inlet duct No.1.

  8. REMOVE AIR INLET DUCT NO.2 (LHD (W/ INTERCOOLER ASSEMBLY))

  9. REMOVE STEP PLATE COVER LH

      Remove the 4 clips.

    2. Release the claw and remove the step plate cover.

  10. REMOVE STEP PLATE COVER RH

  11. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER


    1. A01BF95E01

      Remove the 8 clips and 3 bolts.

    2. Release the 12 claws and remove the bumper.

    3. Disconnect the connectors. (w/ fog light)

  12. REMOVE HOOD LOCK SUPPORT BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  13. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT

      Remove the 6 bolts and front bumper reinforcement.

  14. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY


    1. A01BBWB

      Remove the 3 bolts, hood lock control cable and the hood lock assembly.

  15. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT UPPER


    1. A01BFVV

      Remove the 6 bolts, 2 screws and the radiator upper support.

  16. REMOVE RADIATOR RESERVE TANK ASSEMBLY


    1. A01BHM3

      Remove the bolt, and separate the radiator reserve tank assembly from the body panel.

    2. Remove the clip, and disconnect the water by-pass hose No.1.

    3. Remove the clip, and disconnect the water by-pass hose No.2.

    4. Remove the radiator reserve tank assembly.

  17. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WASHER MOTOR AND PUMP ASSEMBLY


    1. A01BD06

      Remove the 2 bolts.

    2. Separate the hose and connector, and remove the windshield washer jar assembly.

  18. REMOVE HIGH PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY

  19. REMOVE SUB RADIATOR ASSEMBLY


  20. REMOVE FRONT MUDGUARD


    1. A01BBWJ

      Remove the 3 clips and the front mudguard.

  21. REMOVE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY WITH FRONT BRAKE TUBE WAY NO.1


    1. A01BA7L

      Release the lock lever and disconnect the actuator connector.

    2. A01BFVW

      Using SST, disconnect the 6 brake tubes from the brake tube way No.1.

      Remove the 5 bolts. Remove the brake actuator assembly together with the front brake tube way No.1 and brake tube.

      Note

      Do not bend or damage the brake tube.

      Tech Tips

      Remove these in the direction of the front of the vehicle.

  22. REMOVE BRAKE TUBE


    1. A01BAMG

      Using SST, remove the 5 brake tubes and the brake tube way No.1.

  23. REMOVE ACTUATOR BOLT COVER


    1. A01BB6R

      Remove the 2 nuts and the actuator cover.

  24. REMOVE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY


    1. A01BCCM

      Remove the the 2 nuts and brake actuator assembly from the brake actuator bracket.
